Frosty our John Deere Snowman!

Tonight, mommy and Danika had a rare chance to play outside before supper! The temperature was finally not so cold, and we had several inches of new snow that was perfect for creating snowmen. Danika really had fun, and really loved the Snowman Mommy helped her make.

After we got back inside, and for several days afterwards, Danika had to run to the window any chance she had so that she could make sure Snowman was still there. Sometimes though, it was too dark outside, but of course since snowman was sleeping it's OK!

Danika also learned to make snow angels!

Swimming with Auntie Ky-Ky

Today Auntie Kylene (Ky-Ky to Danika) came to visit her friend for the weekend in Fargo, which meant we had access to a hotel pool! We spent a very enjoyable morning with the small pool all to ourselves. Danika even had a little kiddie-section that she could play in, it was very neat. Best of all, Tavan and Eli were able to show off their new swim trunks (thanks god-mamma Jamie!) Here we are, enjoying the hot tub while it snows outside. :)

Danika loves the little kiddo pool. She could swim by herself. One of Danika's favorite things is independence, and thanks to this little gate she got all she wanted...

But of course, we also had to try the deep water. Ky-Ky and Danika had lots of fun in the water.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!! For once, we had a few minutes and everyone dressed half-way decent, so we got some pictures today. Eli (left) & Tavan (right). Our Little Loverboys are full of smiles.

Danika is so proud of her Valentines from school. Although she's not quite in regular school yet, we take her to a once-a-week class for 2-year olds and parents. She really enjoys this special mommy or daddy (sometimes both!) time, and loves to play with the other kids her age too.

Fun with Daddy!

Daddy had fun exercising his tummy with Eli laughing hysterically. This was one of the first times we were able to get these guys to really smile and laugh consistently, how exciting!! They are getting to be very smiley, and much more fun as babies.


Tavan also enjoyed Daddies exercises. Tummy goes up! Tummy goes down! Weeee!

My Precious Kiddos!

No matter what Kurt and I feel about it Eli (above) has found a love for his thumb. Here are both boys at 3 1/2 months old, staring into the camera. Tavan's face (below) is really starting to round-out, while Eli's remains longer. Tavan has also surpassed Eli in the weight category!

Danika loves the camera too, but it's more and more difficult to get a nice, genuine smile out of her. However I can catch her every now and then! Here she is at 27 months old:

Ryan's in Wrestling!

Today we had a chance to see Ryan show off his wrestling moves! Ryan has been practicing for a few weeks now, and at a local high-school tournament in Glyndon, the little kids had a chance to run out on the mat and display some of the techniques they've learned. So far, Ryan seems to be enjoying this sport, and we hope he keeps it up! He usually has practice twice a week, and it runs from late January through the end of March.

Superbowl Sunday
